LOCATION: Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Anaheim
(4:30 PM 12/9/1972)
Got the 7:00 A.M. bus. Twas a cold sunny day. I did a couple hours work before starting painting. Ken came at 1:00 and he did detail painting on 230 while I did 229. Finished reading "The Age of the Dinosaurs" -- had 255 pages. There was a big Computer Convention at the Anaheim Convention Center so a lot of rooms were rented at the Ivanhoe. There was one white car with an odd vent on the roof. It had a U.S. gov't license plate. Twas a test vehicle for natural gas. Some other cars are from Florida & Arizona & Washington.
Quit work at 4:45 and got the RTD right away. Got the 5:30 OCTD, and mom picked me up, so I was home by 6:45. Mom & I went to a movie at 7:00 at the Lido Theatre. They were "The Candidate," & "The Groundstar Conspiracy." They were both good. We got home by 11:00.
