LOCATION: Newport Beach, California
4:30 PM
Retired at about 5:00 A.M. after watching a lot of T.V. -- N.G. Special on Reptiles, All in the Family, Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, Hound of the Baskervilles, and The Sixth Sense. And I wrote letters to Ken, Sue and Peggy. Woke up at noon and typed Ken's letter & put it in an envelope, and I got checks to pay for stuff -- Check for $9.08 to TIME-LIFE LIBRARY OF PHOTOGRAPHY from Dad (I paid him three dollars for the check -- owe him 6.08), and another check for $24.47 to Star Trek Enterprises from Mom (gave her 24 bucks, owe her a dollar) and I'll get 'em all mailed later today.

Larry came over too -- brought FOOD -- hungarian stuff and wine. They got to talking about SEX after awhile -- Larry used his innovative Group Therapy Naturalistic approach, Mom (she blamed the wine) tried to assert herself against overwhelming male chauvinistic odds (very odds), and Dad groggily stayed out of it, only interjecting "Dr. Reuben" knowledge here and there to explain why & how [re: Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex]. Situation unresolved. He [Larry Brockway] left about 11:30. Interesting nonetheless -- (mostly less)...
