Got the 7:00 A.M. bus. Spent the day painting, finishing the rooms and starting to set them up. Linda quit (she's moving to Missouri) so Mike will have to find a new maid. It rained for a couple of minutes Wednesday. I waited 45 minutes for the RTD, and caught the OCTD by the narrowest margin at 6:30. Got to a telephone and called Mom to pick me up at the Centinella parking lot.

At the Ivanhoe, as with many other motels, the lobby featured numerous tri-fold brochures promoting tourist attractions in the area. Here is one that was stuffed into this 1972 journal. The photo of me with Frankenstein's Monster seen in the entry for October 31 was snapped at this Wax Museum. As of August 1, 2013, the Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park was replaced by "TITANIC: The Experience" (info)
