Last night I wrote a letter to Greg, today I wrote the final copy & tomorrow I'll send it. Took a bath and watched T.V. today. Mom went out to see a movie & Dad called. Washed the dishes. Did a bit of organizing of notes for TEMPUS FUGITIVES. Tha's what I'm going to do now.

Jul 25 - US health officials admit that Black Americans were used as guinea pigs in the Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male.

Aug 01 - Democratic vice-presidential nominee Senator Thomas Eagleton withdraws from the race after revealing he was once treated for mental illness.

Aug 04 - One of the largest solar flares ever recorded knocks out cable lines in the US. It begins with the appearance of sunspots on Aug 2; an Aug 4 flare kicks off high activity until Aug 10.

Dec 25 - The Christmas bombing of North Vietnam prompts widespread criticism of President Nixon.
